Our Wisdom Series typically features guest speakers from the community outside of the Impact 100 Louisville membership. This month, the Belonging, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (BDEI) committee are excited to welcome each of you to be the “guest speaker!” We recognize the wisdom inherent in our 558 members and want to spend time connecting and learning from one another.
As we approach our annual event in November and on the heels of welcoming 190 new members, we thought this a perfect time to talk about the concept of BELONGING.
It is one thing to join Impact100; what does it mean to belong to Impact100?
During our virtual meeting, we will hear from members of the BDEI committee on their work and then spend some time in small groups in Zoom breakout rooms hearing from you! Critical to belonging to any group is knowing and being known, so let’s spend a little time getting to know each other and exploring our own wisdom on what it means to belong.
After the small group conversations, the grants committees will announce the 10 finalists for the 2023 Impact100 Louisville grants. This is our biggest year and having 558 members means we have $558,000 to award!
We hope you will join us on Tuesday, September 26th from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. to meet new members, share your wisdom on building a culture of belonging and hear our 2023 Grants Finalists!
