Event Description
The S.N.A.P. Art Barn houses both works from the permanent SNAP Collection as well as a large exhibition space on the lower level that provides opportunities to local artists and curators. The S.N.A.P. Foundation supports visual arts professionals in Kentucky through financial investment and exhibition opportunities at onsite galleries showcasing permanent and rotating collections.

Join us for this unique art experience featuring recent artworks by Skylar Smith from her exhibition Thought Forms at Shapin Nicolas Art Collective. Skylar Smith’s new series of works engage the themes of memory, identity, and the natural world through her diverse practices in drawing, painting, and weaving. In her exhibit, more than 20 mixed media works on paper, canvas, and dyed cotton are characterized by a sophisticated manipulation of colors and layered geometric forms that explore the fragmented and ephemeral nature of human experience.
